Has anyone tried fitting larger diameter speakers in the rear yet? I’d really like to use something bigger than 4” coaxial speakers but I’m not a pro installer, so it would have to be relatively easy to install. Ideas?

I installed 4x6 speakers in mine. No pictures, but I cut off the plastic piece the stock 4" attach to. I then used the remaining standoffs to screw into for retaining the new speakers.

5 1/4" could also potentially be doable.

I put in a 10’ sub behind the seat. Makes those speakers worthless

thanks for the replies. i was thinking about 5.25", but 4X6 might be easier, since they're 4" wide and would be easiest to use the oem mounting posts, correct?

I'm gonna be having a place by me called MTI to get my trim panel and 3D print me a new one with being able to go to a bigger speaker. But it's not cheap at all

I am honestly not sure yet, they told me they couldn't really ball park things until they get a full look and get things apart. If I'm guessing, it's gonna be around 300 - 600
