Hold on. Two companies just updated their older versions and both are at a race to sell them within the coming weeks.

However, there are 100's of things some folks in here did. I would type in the search bar "Side markers" or "side marker lights."

A lot of threads will show up.

I went for an OEM look. Amber lenses from GadCad3D. Not plug and play, I had to purchase my own LED lights, and wiring but definitely worth the effort. As others pointed out, there are pages of writeups on the subject with illustrated DIY instructions.

My contribution was the realization that you do not need to remove the badge - you can carefully drill the 3/4" hole for the grommet that holds the LED light in place using a sharp paddle bit. It's been almost a year since I did it and no issues or water in the lens, etc.

You're exactly right about not having to remove the badge to drill the hole for the light/wiring. There's basically empty space behind it. I removed mine since back in 2022, I had no idea what was behind it, but I know many members were wary about damaging the paint while removing it. Glad to hear all is working well for you. I as well have had no issues with my install and I appreciate the safety feature in having my turn intentions illuminated on the side.

The lenses from GadCad3D, what kind of adhesive did you use? Is it holding pretty good?
