Screen won't show navigation maps from my cell

Suddenly, can't get Google maps navigation to appear on my Mav's screen. We have Android cell phones. Have tried different cell phones and have switched connecting cables, all to no avail. Is there a quick easy fix or do I need to take it in for servicing?

Have you recently had a recall related software update? Mine never even had a slight hiccup until I had all the recent recalls done. Since then, I've only gotten it to work once out of maybe four attempts. Just won't connect at all. Since I don't use gps very often and bluetooth seems Ok, I intend to wait until the back-up cam recall is available, and have them check it out then.

And for the record....Mine is an iPhone.

OP have you tried doing a hard reset of the head unit? To do this press the Play and FF button until the unit resets with the Ford badge.

I'd really like your help on trying the hard reset, but those instructions baffle me. Please go slow and be gentle:

-Do you mean the Play and FF button for the radio?
-Should the Mav be on in assessory mode or should the Mav be running?
-Should the Play and FF buttons be pushed simultaneously and held down UNTIL the Ford Badge appears?

Sorry... should have been more clear. Yes the buttons below the infotainment screen. Push them simultaneously, shouldn't take more than 6-8 seconds, and the unit will reboot. ACC or running, doesn't matter.

I did exactly that and held those buttons for over 3 minutes before giving up. Longer?

Shouldn't take more than 6-8 seconds to force reboot. Those are the instructions in the owners manual.
