Navigation route won't cancel

I have used my navigation many time in my Lariat hybrid with no problems. However, I used it yesterday and cancelled it before I got to the destination, which it did.
Now every time I start the truck that route resumes. I've cancelled it now probably 10 times and it cancels, but the next time I start the truck it resumes again.
I'm wondering if anyone has had this problem, or has any ideas how to cancel the route for good. The owners manual is worthless for this type of instruction.

I'll assume it's the Ford nav. If a display reset doesn't work enter a new destination, some place you're going to anyway and let it cycle through completely.

Thank You, this was the trick. I hadn't thought of resetting the sync.

My nav system did that a couple of weeks ago. After entering a new destination and letting it go through to the end of the route, it started working perfectly again.

I thought of that and tried it twice. That had no affect on the problem, it just resumed after every start. However, the sync reset did indeed fix it.

When in doubt, always reboot a computer.
