Odd works on my wife's iPhone to lock and start there is no google apps on her phone. If your on an android well you bought into google.
Or just disable ford pass like a few members here did when they pulled the fuse. Hell toyota app uses googles location services and charges you for it.
No, on IOS. when I used the location it asked for permission to use google maps. I use Apple Maps for my directions and like it better then google. Just figure google will sell info on where I bank, shop and anywhere I park.

Could be that 911 service updated their location pin for your address. I am rural and my location for my home has two pins. Varies due to several things. Be sure to use the recognized postal address which should have the four digit extension. Mine without the extension but also has CR abbreviation for County Road locates Google address 800 feet north of my gate and with extension at my gate. Also some show my pin 900 feet off road where I updated Google maps while parked in my drive. When you have your property surveyed some locate your GPS to the left front corner of your lot or that may be the gps assigned by your local 911 clerk not sure. In one home I had, my driveway was located at the right front corner of drive. You can update your Google home gps online with your phones gps in your hand exactly where you are. It may take weeks for all the maps to be updated or never if old map was downloaded on users device.
In google maps, you can choose "allow location only when using app."
