Will the first scheduled MY25 builds have more issues or less issues than the rest?

I'm inclined to think the first trucks will have more issues due to the newness of the modifications and lack of familiarity with the new process.

As someone scheduled for a November build, I REALLY hope the additional quality control measures they put in place make the initial trucks as good as the ones that come out after the kinks have been worked out.
I'm in the same boat and could honestly see it going either way especially considering i ordered the AWD Hybrid which wasn't available before. Fingers crossed the extra QC hold will actually make a difference if needed.

When buying a Ford product, I always recommend buying extended warranty (if you plan on keeping it longer than 3 years).

Yes, I understand that no one will actually know the answer, but I wanted to hear what others think in regard to build quality of first runs vs later and if that changes with the hold. Just trying to have some conversation while I wait for my truck. Enjoy Vegas.
SEMA is nov 4-8 , will be there !
I’ ll play blackjack though

If you purchase a Ford ESP from Granger Ford or Flood Ford they are priced very reasonably. Typically it's close to half price of what other dealerships charge. There is a lot of markup and profit in extended service plans and Granger Ford & Flood Ford chose to sell them in volume for just over cost.

I believe Granger Ford is selling the ESP at $25 over their costs.

That is correct. I purchased an ESP for my 22 from Granger. I am purchasing my 25 from them and will get the ESP there also.

I have a 2025 AWD Hybrid scheduled for the first week of production.

And I’m not the least bit concerned the build quality will be any worse than the rest of the 2025s.

Now we’re talking about Ford here so there will definitely be recalls for the 2025s.
