Under the hood and Reverse Camera Recall

Has anyone gotten either of these recalls done via mobile service? Contacted a couple of local Ford service dept and they both said the under the hood and reverse camera recalls were 'advanced notice' and pending for availability of parts. I could only get the instrument, bcm, and signal outage recalls done via mobile.

The printed letter I have and my FordPass app both indicate pretty clearly that the reverse camera resolution is not ready yet. Can't speak to the other recall.

What's the under the hood recall about?

Probably the under hood fire recall. All of the fixes should be available for that one.

Does anyone else find it odd that Ford is now building Mavericks that are not affected by the rear camera issue, but they don't know how to fix it on the earlier builds that are affected? It leads me to wonder if the issue is hardware related and not just a simple code fix.

I expect they don't yet know how to fix it for free . They probably 'fixed' the new builds with better chips/memory.
