I always hear people talk about getting the first scratch out of the way on a new truck, so it’s not such a worry when you scratch it again. Well I’ve scratched the bed up pretty good doing yard work, but today clearing limbs got the best of me…

popped the edge of the back glass with a pretty big limb and it shattered like a cheap coffee table. This pic doesn’t do it justice, in the sunlight you could see it spider-webbed all the way across. Cleanup is not gonna be fun.

I'd absolutely be buying a power slider and a switch with the panel off eBay for sure.

o_O This was my 1st scratch. An RTD bus stopped in a heavy traffic construction zone, I stopped a little too close and as I tried to go around this happened.

Ouch. Sorry, man. You must've caught that tempered glass RIGHT on the edge with an especially hard chunk of wood. :(

You can get the manual one too. I’m thinking of just having it put in someday.

Might as well just get the power slider, so much more convenient.
Yes, but you would have to run the wiring. There may also be a module involved. But I’m not sure. If it’s possible, it would be great b

definitely gonna ask if that’s an option. I don’t care much to mess with making the power slider work, but a manual? I could dig that.

Maybe invest in a headache rack for back window?

I don’t do enough work to justify it but man, for a work truck that’s a great idea
