It’s called blissful ignorance. I love my Maverick and have not had any problems to date. I have to check in on the forum every once in awhile to be reminded of all the many ‘flaws’ and problems that exist.

I had to wait for the sun to drop behind the mountains a little more.
In the real world. No one other than another Maverick owner, is going to stand there, study and critique it.
My goal was for the bumper to look finished, in a passing glance.
My personal opinion is.
I think, Mabett may have tweaked the finish a little.
For me it sure beats...
A blank panel at $32.15 plus around $10 shipping, plus sales $$ tax. .
Then you have to print the template. You to have to have the necessary tools or buy them, such as, a Jigsaw or Dremel with cutoff wheel etc. and have the skill to cut the blank panel correctly and finish the edges.
If you do make a mistake

It is not an accessory, it is a part.
Ford does not sell it precut. You have to cut the panel yourself.

Thanks to A.Bursell. I used his painters tape trick to install my trailer hitch filler panel. Installing the panel is a bit of a struggle and I am sure I would have marred it if was not taped it.
Received my hitch filler panel today from Amazon. Quick delivery. Installed after dinner. Done in a few minutes, took twice as long because I removed my step bumper so I could see it all better. This was not necessary, but I wanted pictures and it showed better without the step. Very happy with it, especially for the price. Yes, less than perfect but it's not on the front bumper either. Looks great at 15 feet and obviously better than factory. Color is very close and may get better as the panels weather more. I did create the scuff marks myself thru my careless handling. I guess that's just like factory too.
