Good to know I was gonna order those for my 25. Have the Ford accessory ones on my 22, no staining ever.

Project Farm ran some tests on restorers. Cerakote seems to be the best option running there.
ol' Project Farm to the rescue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've had good luck with 303 Aerospace protectant on the black plastic fenders of my '04 Mini Cooper. It seems to be popular with Jeep owners as well. Not sure if Mabett is as flexible as those types of fender flares but any unpainted black plastic needs a good UV protectant, and the Maverick has plenty. First thing I did was treat the bed caps and will finish the rest when weather allows.
303 doesn't darken the plastic or give it a wet look like ArmorAll.

But I think the first thing is to get that light spot out before treating it with anything. Maybe try some GoofOff or 90% rubbing alcohol on that spot. Then try to darken it back with ArmorAll or STP SonOfaGun.
Or just clean it all with mineral spirits then tape it off and shoot the whole fender flare with a good Rustoleum semi gloss black, and hopefully not worry about future spills.

Some jeep folks use a electric heat gun or hair dryer to renew their plastics. Caution and practice should be used in the process. Youtube should have a hundred videos or so on it.

Plastic and fuel are the same thing, they are just produced at different temperatures while heating crude oil. I would generally expect them to always react a lil.
