2025 Ford Maverick Order Banks Now Open

The order banks for the 2025 Ford Maverick just opened. Remember:

Pro Trailer Backup Assist and Hitch Assist is a job 2 standard equipment on Lariat, Tremor. If you order now it will not have those if it gets scheduled before the Job 2 Order Guide comes out. That time-line is November with Job 2 scheduling probably happening in November or December for January or February build dates.

Lobo 702A can be ordered now but it's a Job 2 production. See above. It will have Pro Trailer Backup Assist and Hitch Assist. Lobo 402A will be available to order on Job 2.

Check out the last page in the 2025 Ford Maverick - Technical Specifications document (posted in another thread). The last 2 items listed in Standards and Available Features are Pro Trailer Hitch Assist and Pro Trailer Backup Assist.

What feature are you talking about? I saw/heard nothing about being able to flat-tow the Hybrid AWD. If it's there, at what time? Of course, he is not a Ford employee, so he could be wrong.

Sorry, should have been more specific. Flat towing was a different topic. The video I sent was showing that Pro Trailer Backup Assist is on that green maverick they unveiled. So at some point its in the design on the 2025. Whether it comes on the truck or not and when is still TBD?

The technical specs people have shown seem pretty darn official but I guess Ford could always drop that feature?

@fordvideoguy Tim, so not sure if you are saying the $36735 on Ford’s website already reflects the $300 credit. If you are not sure, can you check?

I received the information about the credit from the Maverick Brand team. I assumed that the price for Job 1 and job 2 will be the same and you will see the credit on the MSRP upon the production date of the vehicle.

Probably the reason we don't see a discount on the order sheet is because we don't know when it will be built. You could place the order and it might not get produced until job 2. So no reason to put the discount on there.

I've ordered a 25 Lariat Hybrid, WITHOUT 4K tow. Would Pro-Trailer assist normally come on any Lariat with or without 4K tow?

Not sure on your first question. F150 didn't have the Pro Access Tailgate at the launch of 2024 but received it at job 2. That is the purpose of job 2. If certain features aren't ready at time of job 1, they will introduce it into job 2. Adding BAP will not remove it.

Hey Tim (@fordvideoguy), do you have any idea how many orders Ford got in the first week of the order bank being open? At your dealership in this first week, did you get more, about the same, or less orders than you have in the first week of previous years?

Any thoughts on when the first MY25s will be delivered? September? October? November?

It seems the tailgate is a little different. So maybe it has to do with getting that metal stamp up and running?
