I think theres a thread on here, that shows 3 different whites on F150s. You can really see the difference. The space one looked almost blue at angles.

(Back to Cyber Orange) Here's my problem with blaming the monitor. I look at Ford's pictures from 2021, and they look orange, but then I look at other pictures, and it looks like exactly what I have.

The picture attached to my profile looks exactly like my truck, and it was taken with an iPhone 11. So the monitor is working perfectly for MY PICTURE taken with an iPhone but falters for FORD'S PICTURE undoubtedly taken with a thousand dollar camera? That makes no sense.

It's not the monitor...it was deception.

Ruby Red isn't new. Have a friend with a 2017 F-250 SuperDuty. It's gorgeous!
New on the Maverick for '25, perhaps, but not altogether new for Ford.

I was all set to get a Hot Pepper Red MY25 Maverick, and I just saw that the HPR has been discontinued. (heavy sigh).

After being duped 3 years ago by being told school bus yellow is Cyber Orange (and the picture LOOKED orange!), I'm wondering: will Eruption Green and Ruby Red really be the colors they look to be online? I like both based on these pictures, but I'm not sure I can trust Ford when neither Cyber Orange nor Hot Pepper Red were in person what they appeared to be online when I placed my order back in '21.

What do y'all think? Will Ford's photographer or website guys get the coloring right this time?

Go to a Ford dealer lot and look for any vehicle with the color. That will give best view of true color. That is how I chose cactus gray.

I can't figure why they dropped cactus gray for 2025. I think it's a great color!

You'd love it. Stands out in a crowd. I'd pick it again too if it was offered, but sadly it's not. I'm hoping I'd be happy with eruption green. It will be harder to find in a crowd, but the best color choice this year for me.

 New Colors — Eruption Green — Space White Metallic — Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat1 — Velocity Blue

Velocity blue was dropped and now reinstated for 2025, so not exactly "new".

I can't figure why they dropped cactus gray for 2025. I think it's a great color!

Probably used every drop of cactus gray available in the supply chain.

All these colors are on Fords today. I had a similar dilemma in 2021 when I ordered a Bronco. Go look at a Bronco or F150. Use a little imagination.

No more cactus gray?? No more EB with just FWD. Two reasons to keep my '22 with its zero percent interest. Was thinking of giving my 22 Lariat to the wife, sell her 23 Camry, and get an XL EB FWD Cactus gray. Now, not so much. Guess I would go for the hybrid FWD if I do it.

Can you trust your monitor?

My monitor displays the picture I took of my truck perfectly. The color I see on the picture attached to my profile is the color I see when I go out to my garage every day. I presume my camera & monitor are working perfectly since they both generate real-life color in the one picture I can verify.

I think Desert Sand is just the new name for Terrain. Actually a more fitting name.

Here is Space White Metallic on a '23 Mach-E and the car on the left is Star White Metallic Tri-coat. Space White is more of a gray/blue tint, looks different in different light. I like it enough to have changed my order to Space White. Star White is more pure white. I think Space White is more of a replacement of Cactus Gray than Iconic Silver, really doesn't have any silver tones.
