I saw that in the B&P tool also but didn't want to put too much faith in it being correct. B&P still shows BAP and Tremor as almost entirely black interiors, after all, and we know there's really a good bit of navy plastic in there.

Maybe one of the YTers has looked under a hybrid awd. I saw TFL talked about it but didn't look under, then ironically their next segment was about the Tremor and they showed under the Tremor to point out the torque-vectoring RDU. So close, LOL!
Yes, but it even shows the Hybrid batteries along with the drive shaft. So its not a previous year carry over image.

I went through Ed as well for my 22 hybrid order. I got the invoice pricing and kept the locked in initial price. It wasn't perfect, however; I lost out on the $750 college grad discount because I wouldn't have been able to keep the locked in price from before the price increase.

I found out later (too late, of course) that I could've just called the rebate line and they could just backdate the date in their system so I could keep the price and get the rebate. It still worked out because of the deal he ran, but with their doc fee and losing out on that $750, it was kind of a wash vs going through another dealer.

Given that max power output didn't go up this would make sense. If the rear was ev only I'd expect a little jump above the fwd version.

But I'm also a little surprised the MPG hit wasn't worse. AWD can be a real killer of efficiency on some cars. I'm not familiar with the escape AWD system though.

Am I the only one that noticed that the new touch screen, although great, is way off center from the center stack buttons below and vents. It's not equidistant from the stuff below. Like they just said screw it we are going bigger, who cares if it lines up. Then just cut a massive hole in the top plastic and mounted it.
Yes the screen itself looks better and is a welcome upgrade it's just not cohesive, much like the front end of the truck.

I'm curious if the front bumper that goes into the lights plus the two side piece front fenders were one piece, with no lines separating them, would it look better? And the hood lines not really matching up with the grills. I can't unsee this stuff.

Overall as a package I think they did good, it's just these small things bothering me, and if course the price.

others have definitely commented on that, of course.

Ford could have used a 12" screen instead. they have them on other vehicles with sync4 such as the Bronco. it probably would have lined up better but apparently the design group thought bigger was better, even if it lines up a bit right of center.

I would have done the 12". 😆

There hasn’t been much mention of the loss of having analog looking tach visible at the time as the speedometer, with that 8” cluster.
The best you can get is a vertical bar for the tach and a speedometer wrapping the digital one.

Not sure why the Lariat, and up, didn’t get the 12” they have in the Escape.

maybe this has been addressed but curious why the HP downgrade on the ecoboost for 25

2024
2.0L Horsepower|TorqueHP = 250 @ 5,500 rpm, TQ = 277 lb.-ft @ 3,000 rpm

Despite the many things I liked about my Maverick, after building a '25, there's no way I would, or could, opt for one. It's less an entry-level vehicle than it was initially offered to us as being. To build a '25 to my specs it's an additional $4k, which makes it beyond my budget and frankly not worth it to me.
I could care less about the larger touch screen, sync 4, and definitely don't like the new front end. I just wanted my audio system to work as it was, and sometimes didn't. No real HVAC controls is also a major turn-off for me. I'm not the only one who has voiced this either.

so you have a 22 xl?

edit: I see 23 XLT lux. no way is a 25 4k increase from that.

To equip a '25 just as my '23 was equipped is a $4k increase.
