Is that really in the USMCA? Or is it just part of the Mexican union's agreement with Ford?It was part of the new USMCA agreement that replaced NAFTA. If there are shut down's then they have to pay 75%.
I know there is a requirement of 75% North American content. And a requirement that 40%-45% of labor value content be made by workers who earn at least $16 (USD) per hour. But I never heard of a "pay 75% when shut down" USMCA rule.
Maybe I just missed it. Can you point me in the right direction?
