Another dealer actually installed the lift springs. No reason to turn away work in these parts. -)

Do other vehicles' axel units instantly go on life support when a slight lift is mentioned ? Built Ford/Tough -
No need to take it personally. I was just informing the OP that your situation was different than his.

Not sure why the service department didn't replace both CV shafts.
That is how warranty work is done. If only one component is found at fault and the other one is fine then only the faulty one is replaced.

I see. Makes sense. Totally inconvenient for the owner of the Maverick.

Yes it can be especially if like in this case the opposite side fails within a few weeks or months. Then the owner has to go through the entire process again but at least there is some precedent.

To be clear this is not just a Ford thing. All automotive manufacturers do this with warranty work.

No need to get upset. I was simply informing the OP that your situation was different because of your aftermarket modifications. Then you responded with.

Then you continue to the Built Ford Tough thing even though you modified your vehicle beyond the OEM specifications. I'm not saying you are wrong but don't get upset when your factory parts failed and are called out on it.

Furthermore don't lead members on who have not modified their vehicles into believing that this is just the norm for Mavericks.

Hold on a minute @Nw_adventure .....weren't you the one who was also pissing and moaning that your tailgate cables weren't close enough in length when you first got your Mav and you took it to the dealer?

That was you wasn't it?

And here you go again. Typical - Over reaction engaging the panic button , trying to lecture people while manufacturing a false narrative. Spin that wheel - Fun times.

How r other axels doing ? Simple ask -

Looking over your posting history you've done a lot of pissing and moaning about your Maverick but yet you're still here. I wonder why that is?
