There's still plenty of people with June and July order dates that don't have a build date yet.

OK just thinking out loud, but does it strike anyone else as a strange coincidence that we all (mostly all) recently received a letter from Ford saying delivery will be next year and please accept this free gift. Then not a week later the factory is closed down for week! I'm wondering if the letter was to soften the news about the factory closing down? Again this is just speculation on my part.

Don’t like the news, but it’s not surprising. Just like the Army ‘hurry up and wait’. I had a 11/15, 11/22, 11/29 build dates probably getting ready to have December or later date now. Oh well who wants a new truck in the dead of winter anyway.

I already wasn't scheduled to get mine until next year, but I have a little bit of a crunch because I am supposed to have a year left on my orders when they ship or they won't be able to deliver. I wasn't really concerned about that before, but I am now.+

I also can't get this thought out of my mind with the recent shutdowns, etc. If my truck is just sitting there partially assembled and something will get missed or messed up. Would have rather had everything flow through nice and smooth.

Wonder if it’s mostly hybrids. I had no delays or issues getting my 2.0

I'm sure it's. All trucks for a week, I'm wondering if the 2023 trucks will be out before the hybrids. Lol

That is weird....I have no idea what it all means. It is all smoke and mirrors as far as I can tell.

Just giving you a update so now I have a date under my in production and the white part of my window sticker says 10/29 I guess it should be built today hopefully

Despite this news, I've seen some receive emails saying their production date moved ahead. The delay may be about wiser use of resources. Wait for more parts to arrive and assemble as many as you can vs use parts you have and only build a few. If I have a repetitive job task, I usually save it for when I can get to it and "get in the zone" and knock it out.

I worked in a Chrysler assembly plant, and start to finish took 2 days. Never thought Chrysler would be faster than Ford!
