  2. SSM 53801: 2022-2025 Maverick Hybrid 12V Battery Drain Issue Update Fix Released!

No, I am not asking if it was done remotely or can be done remotely. Yes, I have taken it in. They are not telling me if they even looked for updates. Just that the battery is ok, which it is because its been replaced. Doesn't mean the issue has gone away. I was hoping there was some way I...
  3. SSM 53801: 2022-2025 Maverick Hybrid 12V Battery Drain Issue Update Fix Released!

Is there any way to confirm if my truck has this update? My dealer is not helping. I've had the battery replaced once and of course it has not fixed it.
  4. Ford recalls 456K vehicles due to loss of drive power (undetected low battery issue); includes 2022-2023 Maverick Ecoboost & Hybrid

I have a dumb question. How does the 12v battery become low while driving the truck? Shouldn't the alternator or high voltage battery in the Hybrid be providing 12V power for accessories and be charging the 12v at the same time? Seeing as it's a software fix and not a replacement of the 12v...
  5. Did the Lane Centering warning noises change?

Alright, thanks. At least I know I'm not imagining things. When I first heard it, I thought some other alarm was going off.

  7. Did the Lane Centering warning noises change?

I feel like I'm going crazy.. but today the warning sounds (Cancelled and the Keep Your Hands on the Wheel) are different. A bit more old school sounding, like a 16 bit video game.
  8. Perimeter Alarm on Lariat/XLT, No Interior/Inclination Sensors?

I did find out the sequence in the book to temporarily disable the shock sensor does work. Not as easy as a menu option, but it is what it is.
  9. Perimeter Alarm on Lariat/XLT, No Interior/Inclination Sensors?

Well that stinks. The manual for the shock sensor has a lock/unlock sequence that is supposed to disable it, but that didn't work either.
  10. Perimeter Alarm on Lariat/XLT, No Interior/Inclination Sensors?

It would be nice to disable the shock sensor in certain situations. As far as the interior sensors go... It seems like it should have them, as it's described as part of the anti theft system and the anti theft system does have a feature that does work. The manual for this truck is horrible...
  11. Perimeter Alarm on Lariat/XLT, No Interior/Inclination Sensors?

Add me to the list of installed the perimeter plus module but didn't get the menu item.
  12. Seat belt info screen

Alright. The only thing different about that seat is the 12v battery lives under there in the hybrid. Why it would be indicated in the seat belt screen,I have no clue but it appears that isn't the case.
  13. Seat belt info screen

Curious if this is only in hybrid models or not
  14. Info Screen Tilts Upwards Towards driver

How tall are you? I haven't noticed any issue with the screen. I'm 6'1".
  15. SSM posted for Hybrid Maverick brake problem: Brakes Grab During Light Braking When Applied At OrBelow 6.2 Mph (10 Km/h) -- 10/21/22

I've only had my Maverick for 3 weeks and have noticed this issue. The loud clunk noise made me think something was broken. It's gotten a little better, but it still happens. I feel like it's the emergency braking kicking in. It happens at low speeds and usually something is right in front of me...
  16. (Official memo added) 2022 orders with Dec. build date will be canceled and rolled to 2023MY.

What prevents them from making a 23 with one of the colors not available for ordering? Nothing, really...
  17. New software update?

I have a Lariat. This is what mine shows.
  18. New software update?

Hmm. The layout of mine looks completely different on that screen.
  19. Ford Purging Orders from Sunday and Monday???

If they communicate it soon, that may be the best. Better than wondering for a year what's going on.
