I sold my 23 tremor 6-8 weeks ago to CarMax. Three days after I sold it it was for sale on CarMax Web site for $2 less than they paid me for it. Plus I got the 7 day price update from Carvana for $3,000 less than their first offer which was $1,000 less than CarMax purchase price was. Currently I told my sales person I would consider trading my hybrid XLT LUX for an older small pickup. I do have a neighbor that refurbish old pickups who has one almost completed. Maybe??
When you say "old", if your neighbor refurbishes those awesome 60's and 70's pickups, for me the "maybe" becomes a Hell Yeah!!

Ford's last real Bronco was the 1996 model year (which I bought back then knowing the Bronco would be no more). The "Bronco" they came out recently is nothing more than a Jeep Wrangler 4-door wannabe. The Maverick on the other hand is not pretending to be the 1970's Ford Maverick.

NGL, the more I see the Bronco interior the more I enjoy it. I saw this one near me

But I'm not a fan of the Outer Banks' 1.5L EB. But those seats 🤤

I dunno... some other stuff I'm not fond of on the Bronco's too but I do like this choice for seats A LOT!

The Bronco Sport is the SUV I was cross-shopping with the Maverick. I would have bought one if the 4 cylinder trim were cheaper. You get a LOT of functionality in a vehicle that is only 173 inches long (two feet shorter than the Maverick).

I need to check and see how this biannual project is coming along and what it is (I forget). Last I saw it about a year ago he had just finished painting the frame and had wheels on it. The one about two years ago was a 53 or 54 Ford, painted UT orange or close to it. I will call him when I get prices and equipment figured out for a pallet (28) 585 watt bifacial grid tied solar panels.

Super happy with Mav, but the Bro Spo just looks like a nicer, more capable and sporty passenger vehicle. It just doesn't have a separate boot like Maverick (or sedans) for all the nasty, dirty, oily stuff. Also, extra stuff goes on the roof and is subject to winds.

With Maverick, I wanted my camping stuff to be contained with no roof racks. I was tired of the roof box in the wind and rain. I like cars with trunks and trucks. No more single compartment vehicles that end up smelling like a trash run or gym locker. Beyond that, Bronco Sport is a step up from Maverick and the price reflects that.

Looks nice! The BS was just too small for me, plus I really needed the bed to haul a few things, plus the 4K tow to haul my teardrop. I have 1.5 years left on a 3 year note ($155/mo), so a new note is not in my wheel house. My son traded his F-150 for a Bronco. He loves it, but misses the bed 😉

It's actually an impressive little engine. My wife and I find it's not lacking power and it sounds much better than any 4 cylinder car I have been in.

The BS works for me! I have a 2001 Ford Ranger if I need to haul or tow anything.
