2023 Tremor XLT LUX. I had the 24S27 recall done this morning. The service invoice stated that the TPM system requires a relearn as a result, so make sure your dealer did that. Also, on my vehicle, some of my settings were back at the factory default. For example, my daytime running lights were on. I drive without them and typically have them turned off in the Settings. So, I'd suggest you review your settings after this recall is performed.

My DRLs were back on after I got some recalls done.
The TPMS should re-learn on its own.

I've typically had the same results as you describe above with respect to the TPMS, however it was listed in my invoice, and when I asked about it, the tech said that with how my Mav is optioned, this update disables the TPMS, and it must be re-enabled and relearn. At any rate... anyone having this done should probably be aware that it reaches beyond just the tail lights issue.

I had mine done on Thursday, and it took over 7 hours (the letter said 1 hour and the scheduler originally said 2 hours) - is that normal, or is my dealer just terribly inefficient?

It should only take 15 minutes...7 hours is crazy!

Had it done last week in my driveway by Ford Mobile Service. Took 20 min with no issues at all.

Old guy here. I’ve been waiting, too.

How long is a good while?
For me I’ll wait a couple months just to see if any issues start popping up in post on this forum

I received this recall last week and haven’t been in any rush to get up there, it says you can still operate the truck normally so I’m with the others as far as waiting a while. Especially after seeing the 7 hour wait time post, I would’ve highly annoyed had that been mine that took that long.

I had it done and I have yet to see an issue, other than my radio annoyingly wanting to turn on the local station upon start despite me never listening to it and the radio being off when I last turned off the truck. Might need to hunt down a reset setting.

Took 15 minutes in my garage.
