Finally got my paddle shifters working on my Mav with a Bronco Sport Steering wheel. Messing with electronics is a little out of my comfort zone, so this project was kind of rough. The main thing that was difficult was getting the terminals to seat into the pcm. They were a little difficult to get seated without mangling the wires. Still dont know why the BA wires are 3 times the price of the CA wires....they are the same thing.

Yea ford use them a lot i guess lol . If anyone wants some terminals let me know i take the loss i got a lot of them.

I really wanted a ST steering wheel with paddle shifters, but I just cant justify the price. $500 range for one seems a little steep. Most of them have red stitching too. Decided that I would give a Bronco Sport paddle shift steering wheel a try. Just waiting on the terminals so I can wire it. Roughly 1/3 of the cost of the ST wheel.

You can find them pretty regularly on Ebay. Expect to pay $5-600 for one from the dealership. Mine is from an Escape. They're the same steering wheel.

I got mine from eBay. I just ordered an ST Line from ebay. The ST Line cost me half of what I paid for the Bronco Sport paddle shifter. I will put the Bronco Sport for sale here on marketplace when my new one comes in.

Antonio, the part numbers you have referenced. When you buy that part number is it one bag with 5 wires in it? I am trying to buy them and not sure what I am going to get. some have pics like this

I know it’s kind of got me concerned. eBay has got my back…,fingers crossed!

I usually go by rating as well. Let’s see, if so you can be a supplier to the masses here who want to swap out the wheels.

This is pretty crazy. I ordered this on May 10th and today is May 16th and my steering wheel arrived. That's pretty impressive shipping from United Kingdom to NY. The steering wheel is better than the pictures on the listing. Its so much nicer than I thought. The only weird thing is I had to use my harness from my Bronco Sport paddle shift wheel because the harness it came with did not have a horn hook up. What do they do in the UK? Maybe everyone is just so polite they don't need them? Only wish the stitching was orange and not red, but for $165 shipped this is a fantastic deal.

I was gonna sell my Bronco Sport paddle shift on marketplace here but I do not want to list it since the harness is missing the horn plug in. If someone knows a workaround or just wants a cheap leather wrapped steering wheel I will put it up for sale. Let me know if anyone has interest and I will list it properly.

The plug circled is the stock harness horn

The UK harness does not have this plug.
