I picked up my Maverick XLT FX4 AWD MSRP 32730.00 and I paid 32730.00 plus tax. Dealer is John Kennedy Ford Pottstown PA. Purchased over phone and picked up next day. Most honest and professional transaction I have ever had at a dealership. I drove 2 hours to pick up and Maverick was already detailed and waiting for me.

I have been trying to get an order placed for over two weeks from this same dealership and still waiting for confirmation. Every time my sales person replies, I respond within 15 minutes but it usually takes him 1-3 days to reply with the next email.
Go elsewhere.

Where in Florida do you live? I'm in Brandon, near Tampa. I was recently referred to a Florida dealer who promised to sell ordered units at MSRP. But the fee schedule contained a "dealer fee" of $895 in addition to the tag, tax, title and so on. That $895 is a dealer charge above MSRP, no matter what you insist upon calling it.

What dealer is offering to sell at MSRP? BTW, the $895 is on an ordered unit; NOT one they have in stock...
James I am in R-view... not far from you.. In my experiences starting late in July - all of the local Dealerships were terrible to work with. {MY opinion, if you want to respond contrary to my opinion be civil and provide guidance please? } BTW I am flying up to Ames, IA to get 3% under invoice + small $300 doc fee - The traveling home will eat up $1,500 (more than likely less) of the $3k savings I will gain! Also I will be visiting with family on that trip home to FL - so it is a good trip-cation event!

I live in MN and ordered mine from Grainger, IA. It saved me $3k. Will drive down to pick it up early Dec. Shipping is an option - for $350-$400.

I made the last mistake in the chain when I sent him an email last Thursday saying "here is the buyer's order signature you requested, let me know if there are any problems or if I need to come in to the dealership." But the attachment did not attach..... Luckily I went back through my emails 4 days later and realized this as he never responded. I followed up yesterday around noon noting my mistake and just got a response 24h later that my order is being placed.

I'd be tempted but I really don't want to travel to pick up the truck and their MSRP price with no dealer fees are apparently very fair, even though they still make about $800 off the sale for what amounts to probably less than a few hours of work(even though they have drawn my ordering process out over two weeks)

OP, who was your sales guy?

My name is Ryan and I work for Mullinax Ford in Mobile, AL where these two Mavericks were sold. We sell the Mavericks at MSRP with ZERO dealer fees, just add your local tax. I can give you my number if you have any questions. Thanks!

What did you get to have 3k in savings from 3% under invoice?

My MSRP is $25,650 if I saved 3% that would be $769.5 saved so that would price it $24,885. Sales tax would then $1244.50 instead of $1282.50 so a savings of $38. That puts the total savings at $807.50. So say I did switch dealers I am only paying $180 instead of $300. That means my total savings would be $687.5.
Still a good deal but because it is high demand for the hybrid I just went straight to my local dealer without looking around. Not to mention my time free time is very limited. Got work and need get alot of stuff done before the snow flies.

Your working 3% under MSRP while the deal is 3% under invoice. Invoice is a good amount below MSRP. Doc fees and other fees have a huge range across the country as well.

Me and my son in law got new Mavericks last night. Mine XLT with Copilot 360 and his XLT AWD with FX4, 4K towing, and copilot 360. Love them! If anyone is near Alabama and wants one like my son in laws there’s an Area 51 equipped exactly like his coming in soon and it’s for sale.

I like the colors. They both look sharp with the stock wheels. But I really like the pepper red I got on mine. The ride on these are really nice and surprisingly quiet. I've had mine for 2 weeks now and I'm surprised everyday by what a great deal Ford has in the Maverick.
