It’s not the best by any means. I’ve been diligent about really wiping it down with Armor All wipes once a week. Having kids definitely doesn’t help because they couldn’t care less about scuff marks lol the back of my seat looks like a giant foot print

Yup!
B pillar gets beat up by the seatbelt , and getting in and out .
Probably just order a new b pillar lower plastic for when I sell it .
Had a Mercedes s600 same thing , the alcantera wore thin from sdliding in and out next to door , and that was 140k car!
Had that b pillar piece and a spare recovered at an upholstery shop and swapped out when I sold it .
Just got to consider the stuff consumables nowadays .like a bic lighter.
Sad but true.

Have you tried taking a heat gun and running that over the scuffs? Works wonders on my Nissan, i "freshen" it up every spring. Now, it won't take out gouges or deep cuts but light scratches, scuffs and some discoloration go bye-bye....
I tried that and it worked okay but not as good as I'd hoped. I think I'm going to try some flexible cloth covering for the upper section of the inside of the door where it is worst. I'll use a spray adhesive and trim close. if it works okay I'll post pictures. otherwise I'll just use goo-b-gone and call it a bad idea.

Let those of you that look as good as you did when you were new cast the first stone! It's an inexpensive practical truck people. People fight to get one and then they bitch about it. Love mine!

I think it depends on what you came from.
If you are coming from a 50,000 or 75,000 vehicle you might be disappointed. If you are coming from a 20 year old Ranger that you sold for scrap for 425 then it's pretty nice.
I love my truck - I don't see any scuffs.

But then I didn't see any scuffs on my Ranger either.
I was too busy keeping the engine and brakes and radiator working.
Now that i don't have to do that I only see still clean plastic.

Once a week?!
I must be a real pig, I don't think so, there are no fast food wrappers or junk in my Maverick but I might wipe it down couple of times a year.
And I think that Armour All stuff just attracts dirt.

It just requires a little extra attention to being careful if the scuffs bother you so much. After 30K miles, my interior still looks great. I'm careful, and take care of it, and yes, still use it as a truck, including hauling my 75lb German Shepherd around! 🤠

Is the truck inexpensive? Is $30,000 peasant money? What if someone else damaged your truck? You still going to say . ahh, it's an inexpensive truck, i'll let those dents, scratches, etc go... no biggie...?

To those of you who posted complaints about the poor plastic interior: I hadn't noticed a problem with the interior plastic, but now I am very concerned, and will undoubtedly lose a lot of sleep over it.

yeah it scuffs... but I'm so relieved that there is only one single piece of black piano plastic in the entire truck and it is at the 6 o'clock position of the steering wheel and that is it...
And you can buy a cover for that piece too! One thing I would liked though is to have the Escape style shift rotary and a better location on the push to start as well as a much easier to see illumination on it.

But two things I refuse to buy or even consider a vehicle for now days:
1. Gloss piano black plastics
2. HVAC buttons being inside a screen and not physical

I wouldn't care if it was a Lamborghini and it was given to me, I'd sell it instantly.
Pure hatred for that crap and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

Any ideas about protective film to cover vulnerable areas?
