I wonder if anyone has seen any testing on low noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) levels. The first thing I noticed when I got on the Freeway the first day I picked up my Mav was how loud it was. I am not talking about the engine. You can barely hear that, but the actual noise of the tires on the road and wind noise on the windshield. I own several cars that are 2011 and newer, and the maverick is the loudest by far. And all the other vehicles have class E M&S tires that should be louder. Maybe due to being closer to the ground than the other cars I drive. I had a 2016 Tesla Model X, and I know it is an electric motor, but the inside of that car was as quiet as they come, probably a lot more aerodynamic and Dynamat throughout...
Hi I just drove my XLT FX4 all wheel drive with the 2.0 turbo 1200 miles from San Diego to Cabo. I could not disagree more with this post. My experience is the complete opposite-road noise, wind noise tire noise all non-existent in my Maverick. So idk what happened there but its smooth sailing over here! Cheers

Same here... Ford Maverick XLT FX4 ecoboost with the stock Pirelli tires and it's very very quiet for me, I don't have any rattling, vibration, hood shake, etc. Only thing I hear is the faint noise of the turbo and it's hardly anything.

Just got back from a 2 hour drive. Road noise was easily less than my Mazda3 top trim I just traded in.

Should I compare it to my 92 mustang convertible 5.0 with Duramax 4 series? Maverick wins

I think having the XLT Lux package with a bedliner (sprayed or drop in) makes a big difference. All terrain tires are always a little ( a lot depending on aggressive tread) noisier. No complaints with noise for me….

Since I don't have access to another Maverick to compare to, I can only compare to other vehicles I've driven. Our Maverick is not loud to us at all. We can hold a conversation without having to raise our voices in the least.

Ours isn't even a lux.
I agree, My XL EB is very quiet and my wife even noticed that on a recent road trip. I did get a set of aftermarket wheels and tires (TireRack is the best) so maybe that would help those who are complaining about excessive road noise.

Sometimes when I’m driving on the highway I think I have a window cracked open. It could be quieter but it’s not noisy.

I just took my first extended road trip and my wife and I both commented how quite it was. I have the Lariat with AWD, Off Road, LUX, and towing 2.0 Eco Bust. I was really impressed with the quite. I did not have the radio on during the trip since we were on the phone with friends.

Do some little sound deadening. Under carpet and rear panel wall will makes it little less noise and add side window deflectors will cut the noise around the side windows.. heard some mav owners says it helps cut down about 20%..

I put Michelin LTXs on and it helped some of the tire noise. Overall the truck isn't too bad. We've done some 3 hour drives and it wasn't unbearable. My Ram 3500 is dead silent inside, even towing 18K lbs. But, that's a $90K+ truck too.

My Maverick XL, AWD, EB with stock Continental tires is very quiet. Only complaint I have is an annoying rattle at 50+ mph coming from the the screen display area. When I drop it off for the side air bag recall I’ll have them fix the rattle. I don’t care if they have to rip the entire dash out to fix it. I thought dash board rattles were a thing of the past.

Hi Patrick. Can you send us a DM with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into this for you.
