Haven't worn a pair of jeans since I bought the truck.

Honestly, I challenge anyone with a Maverick to take a picture of that exact spot on their truck and there not be scratches.
The only thing that crosses my mind (don't have my truck yet) very few plastic parts in my 04 Saturn where coated with a paint that was soft to the touch. No clue why they thought this was ok to put on touchable surfaces. It scratched easily and then after years started to wear off wholesale. 😟 Hope that is not the case here. Eventually I removed many of the pieces and sanded / painted them.

under the seatbelt hanger... guaranteed it's scratched within the first 100 miles!

BTW - yes, the maverick plastic is cheap and easily scratched, but that area is scratched up bigtime on my Bronco as well. thanks Ford, LOL.
I bought some rubber seat belt covers. They cover the outside of the hard buckle. They keep the hard plastic from scraping and banging off the side plastic.

do you have a link please?

I don't find my 23 Lariat to be easily scratched but I am careful and have no kiddos.

I have owned a 2022 2023 and as of a day ago now own a 2024 Maverick Lariat.

Looking as the interior plastics the 2024 seems more shinny and hard to scratch than the earlier years I have owned. 2022 Lariat ECO, 2023 Lariat hybrid, 2024 Lariat ECO.

Anyone else notice any changes to 2024 interior plastics?
