Can this installation be made using ramps and crawling under the front of the truck?

I assisted with the prototype, I first tried one from tbe BS. It was too short, and the doors weren't in the right places. I made this attempt in my garage with ramps. Doing that and having a production one now. It can be done pretty easily with a set if ramps. If you change your own oil, you would already have about 40% of the work complete.

Love the idea of this and making it easier to change the oil might make it worth the price over the life of the truck...any plans to offer them in a matte black? I'd personally prefer that to the lighter color one on the website. Might be a nice option if you could offer it. Assuming if not that it could be painted?

I like that it is the first skid plate out there that fits a hybrid, but I would prefer it provide at least as much coverage as the stock plastic one.
Maybe this will spur some competition, or I'll wait for black friday sale...

As of right now we’re only offering our standard 2-layer (a zinc primer + silver powder coating) option for those skid plates which are not visible underneath (e.g. on Maverick).

Some of our skid plates are just really seen from under the vehicle, but unfortunately Maverick is not one of them.

I also enjoy the look of them and I had the same color setup on my previous Tacoma (not RIVAL though). I got the skid plates on the LCA's to match - not that I needed them, but it looked damn good.

Can't wait to install this beauty and never uninstall it again lol.

Very interested in this, to avoid removing the stock cover on my Hybrid. What is the coverage like vs the stock fiber/fabric one ? Less worried about offroad stuff, more about easy access to oil changes and maintaining the splash/debris protection underneath. Apologies if I missed a comparison picture to the stock part. TIA!

No confidence an oil change ‘tech’ will not damage the fiber belly pan, replace all or not strip one of 14 screws.
