New Lariat Mav owner and new to the Club, and saw there were some serious issues on the first lunch. Did a quick Google search, but if someone can direct me to a list of them on the site or let me know if not discuss what they might be?-GlennR

I've got 2 23 hybrids. I will NOT get them updated with the recalls. One has 14k and the other 11k with zero issues. I plan to keep it that way. Avoid the recalls.

I have a 2024 xlt Lux 360. Will not go to a ford dealer for service or recalls.

Not having a recall corrected in a timely manner might impact your warranty if same leads to a major failure (so I have been told)

Don't know if it is legal to avoid recalls. You may be liable if you get in an accident. Insurance companies will do anything to avoid paying.

Same problem but have not actually acquired a Maverick yet............need some guidance from a dedicated Mav. owner that will take the time to help me avoid a mistake in what model to buy as well as trim package to avoid or minimize potential problems .

I may be wrong but I think you can go to a certified indy shop to have the recalls done. If anyone has done this please post.

No real changes for the 24 model year, these trucks are virtually unchanged since launch. You will get a few tweaks in the 25 model but still several years out for significant changes.

I had the blinker light recall done. Took them fifteen minutes in my garage. Noticed zero change (given it was designed to fix a problem that only appears when the bulb burns out...). Didn't even mess up my Forscan tweaks.

Otherwise, been fortunate in that my MY23 4K Lariat hasn't had any major recalls.

I honestly don't see the logic in not getting recalls done. They cost Ford money; so, it's not like the intentionally do bad ones.

No, recalls must be done at a Ford dealer.

Independent shops could perform them I guess...but Ford wouldn't pay them. And the recall wouldn't be "cleared" from the VIN.

'23 XLT (built Oct. 2023). Purchased off the dealer lot in November '23. Only recall has been for the turn signal out indicator which I had done. No problems whatsoever and no other recalls on it.
