Advertising is very expensive, so what brands often do is try to design a compelling product that generates a lot of buzz for a few months/years. Word of mouth is very effective, because it's free, but it's also often seen as more genuine and persuasive than traditional forms of advertising. One the hype starts to come down, that's when you start to run the more conventional ads to keep interest in the product going strong.Im happy that Ford is actually having Mavericks in more and more commercials. They are still (in my eyes/knowledge) a hot vehicle and why has it taken this long before Ford has started using them more frequently...ugh.

I feel your pain. 651 for me and still counting. Currently looks like I'm going to hit the two year anniversary of my down payment before my truck gets here.The power is yours.....after waiting 525 days
