I had a 2006 Dodge Magnum. The Magnumswere made 2005-2008. Dodge advertised them the first year and then it was like nothing. Many people didn't even know about them or the fact that you could get them with AWD. I had a 2006 for about 4-1/2 years. Several times people would come up to me and ask "what is that?"
Another car I always wanted. Last of the station wagons.

I'm thinking the biggest problem for this young man was the Area 51 color. If the Maverick had been a cactus gray, the patrolman would have been checking out the cool color and not noticed the speeding. :ROFLMAO:
He forgot to used the (unadvertised) cloak mode of the Area-51. Actually, none of us really use it, as the color is so cool, we like showing it off.

Not exactly. There was the Cadillac CTS-V wagon (2010-2014) and most recently the Buick Regal TourX (2018-2020). If I ever were to win the lottery I would try to find a garage queen CTS-V. Those are the fastest station wagons ever made in the U.S.

I had a 2006 Magnum SXT RWD with the 250 hp 3.5L V6. Damn thing was a money pit. Had to keep replacing the crappy Mercedes front suspension parts. Control module (Mercedes) went out in the transmission. Brake rotors were expensive ($100 each). With the V6 I was getting 25-26 mpg hwy. Performance for the 3.5L was 0-60 mph in 7.5 secs with a (limiter) top speed of 117 mph. It's rare to see a Magnum now. Think most owners that have one in good shape, especially with the Hemi's, are keeping them as garage queens and putting little miles on them.

Did not know about those vehicles. What I don't get is that some of these suv's are essentially raised station wagons. And yet the station wagon had a stodgy reputation. But I guess the minivan was a big contributor to the station wagon demise.
