That's not really an alternative since it's not going to immediately change anything. It's a good start but even if that is successful it will take several years for something like that to happen. I'm not saying it's worth doing that, in fact I like that idea a lot but for anyone really worried about the data being collected right now they only have two real alternatives. Either take public transportation or own an older vehicle that does not collect any data.The alternative is to call your representatives and tell them to write a bill banning Ford from collecting and selling your info.
