Tracking a Maverick that wasn’t pre ordered…

I got lucky and was informed by a dealership they had the same truck that I have been waiting on a start build date, coming into the dealer within a week. I canceled my build order and put a deposit on the one arriving next week. I was wondering if there was a way I could track the shipment of the one I put a deposit on since it’s currently in transit. Any help is much appreciated.

If you have the window sticker, you can track it through Ford's tacking website.

That being said, good luck. I was in a similar situation, ordered a truck, and then was able to reserve one that was in transit to the dealer. The Ford tracker said it would be here on the 25th, and it showed up at the dealer on the 20th. Nothing on the palsapp, or any indication that it was that close.

Do you have a signed buyer's order on the one that is coming to the dealership?

Be aware that dealer's are marking up their units $3000 to $9000 over MSRP.

No mark up, just paying MSRP. Signed the form yesterday when I put the deposit down.

I'm in the same boat as you. The one I'm getting shipped around the same time. I'm just patiently waiting. My dealer said 4-6 weeks to get to the dealership. I'm also in Alaska. So it may be less for you.
