42000 points($210) are even not enough for three oil change. my dealer ask for $75 for oil change and filter replace.
the works is $69+tax in most of the country. it's more than an oil change:

The Works® Package Synthetic Blend Oil Change and More*
• Tire Rotation and Pressure Check
• Brake Inspection
• Vehicle Checkup
• Fluid Top-Off
• Battery Test
• Filter Check
• Belts and Hoses Check

I tried to order floor mats. Then Ford Parts sent me a backseat mat for an Explorer instead...

So now I'm waiting for my part to get returned so I can get my points back and re-order.

Modular bed liner. With the dealer 20% discount and pass points it was $158 out the door.
🤔.... I don't like the glossy plastic look of a modular bed liner, but a spray in bed liner is hard to afford right now... And a tonneau cover would hide the modular liner when I wasn't hauling something... And when I was hauling something, the modular liner would work just fine... ...🤔 Thanks!

If I started with 42000 points, they subtracted 12,498 for my oil change, and I have 29,892 left. So adding those together I started with 42,390 points. Must be the new math.

How long after you picked your truck up did it take for your points to show up and did you just have to keep looking in the app?
Mine took about 5 days. I was told it could take up to 3 weeks.

I backed into my plastric garbage can.....hard to see at night when out by the street,,,,and it broke my BAP tailight. There went ment points plus a few more bucks but not a bad price from an online dealer considering how hard it is to find BAP lights for the Maverick. Wasn't much more than a standard Lariat tailight which you need for the LED side light.

It looks better than I thought it would. It has a nice textured look to it to mimic the spray in liners. Plus, Ford sells the pieces individually if you damage one and want to replace it. I never would have bought it had it been sold as a one piece bath tub. :ROFLMAO:

As a side note, the pieces fit together very well and not that difficult to install as a DIY. I too was turned off on the price of a spray in plus the nearest installer was over an hour away.

Hello,

I just got my new Maverick and am waiting for the Ford Pass Points to hit my account -- Trying to figure out what to buy with them. At first I thought heavy duty floor mats, then I realized I couldn't wait a month for those and ordered some just this afternoon from Rough Country.
My next thought is the Ford Dashcam they offer (https://accessories.ford.com/dashcam-140-dash-camera-1), and then have it installed at the dealer.

45,800 points for the Camera, and 19,200 for the Install, so I would have to pay out the difference of like - $115 give or take, I don't see many other options that I like on the website.
  • What did you buy with them?
  • Would you buy it again?
  • Suggestions on what to get?

Thanks! Have a great day
-Logan

I didn't use mine yet but I hear there is a deadline on using points? Anyone know if this is true? I figured they keep building till you use them.

Our dealership told us Ford pass points could only go towards accessories, and not be used on maintenance items.
They told you a fib. I use mine for oil changes and maintenance at different dealerships all the time.

Hey. Thanks. That actually sounds plenty good. (The 01 Tacoma I've had about 8 yrs came with a one piece bath tub. : ) I'd rather get a liner in sooner than later. Don't want any scratches in my truck bed!

Be happy to DIY the modular.

🤔

How does it work with the bed cubbies?

What about access to the M8 holes for bed rails/tie downs? (Someone here suggested rows of inexpensive lift ring eye bolts in lieu of expensive bed rails. Works for me.)

I suppose I can Google up more details...

Thanks.

Everything is all marked out on the inside where you have to cut out or drill for the tie downs. Too much money right now for the adjustable bed rails so getting buy with the tie downs that come on the truck. All in all I feel it is worth the full price, getting it for over half off was a great bonus.

Oh, and the Maverick name stamped on the front piece is a great touch as well. Hope this helps.

We just took delivery on a 2024 XLT and put the points into oil change service...we're getting 4 complete oil changes with our points. I don't have time or the required tools to do it myself, so it's a good use for the points to me.
What level oil change did you get or was recommended for the hybrid?

Cool. Yes, you've been a big help, Bob. I appreciate your generosity.
