Marcotte Ford was good until I went to pick it up my Maverick and told them I wasn't financing through them unless they could match it. Finance Business Manager (Bill Maki) was a tool. I now go to Lamouruex Ford ("Where Friends Send Their Friends" ) for my service for a much better experience.

Mullinax Ford Olympia, Wa. Great, had a few questions so went to Mullinax to ask in August 2021. Sales person, Jim Mohling answered all my questions and I signed up that day Through out the time I waited I would stop by and ask, what seemed like the same questions over and over again. When my truck arrived, in July 2022, Jim called and we were over in eastern Washington. They held it, cleaned it up and when we got back, paper work was ready, loan was ready and we drove off happy with the whole experience. Been happy ever since with their service department and all in all, we will recommend Mullinax Ford to everyone interested in buying a new or used vehicle.

My experience was very good! My Mav was a used new ‘23 model on the lot! It had 666 miles on it at signing and priced at $41,500! I about panicked on hearing the price, however, they gave me $21,500 for my ‘21 Corolla. That and $5K put the finance well under $15k! My Credit Union gave me an interest rate under 6%. Needless to say, I’m very pleased with the whole experience plus my dealership provides free oil changes, tire rotation, state safety checks, engine for life and more. So far all I have paid for beyond the payment is gas!

I'm so glad to hear this. I ordered from Don Hinds with a build week of March 4th.
So they didn't try to add a bunch of crazy fees?
Nope. Not even in the finance office.

The service department has been great too.

Ordered in Oct '23 got it that December. Only had to put a $500 deposit down that went towards my down payment. When it arrived at the dealer a few hours later I picked it up. They didn't even have anytime to put any dealer stickers on it.

No funny business like fees other than the normal stuff like for transport and documents. Sat me down went over their stuff. Took what I wanted and declined what I didn't with with no fuss.

All they did was fill the tank up, washed it and took all the coverings off/out of it. They left me alone to look the truck over then tell them if there was any issues. Very happy customer and now a happy Maverick owner.

Second time buying from my salesman Gary. He made sure he called every time there was an update. So I'd say I had a really good experience. My dealership was Holman Ford Turnersville, NJ.
Thank you for your post. I am also in NJ and reached out to Gary. I’m glad you had a no frills buying experience. I did not. I received a timely quote, but was surprised to see a $995 adder for Stargard vehicle protection.

Got mine from Metro Ford of Madison. The actual sale of the vehicle went smoothly, and the sales reps were fine to work with. I sent the rep my build, I stopped in and put down a deposit, and he kept me updated over the following months. Delivery was painless.

The service department, however...is mediocre, at best. I had the tow pkg wiring recall work appointment booked for about a month. Dropped it off on my appt. day, got a call about an hour later saying they didn't have the part...really, guys? So scheduled another appointment for a couple weeks later. My last visit for an oil change was also slightly annoying as it was finished by like 10am but no one called me. I showed up an hour before close and they obviously forgot and hadn't even done the paperwork. Probably not going there for service anymore.
Keyser ford in madison has been 100% hassle free for me so far. Got mav in 3 months at msrp absolutely no bs. Had 1 small issue that wasnt thwre fault and they took care of it no charge during taiglight update

Does that super-quick delivery mean that they never did the PL/PD work, or did they get it done some other way? The tire pressures need to be dropped from their shipping pressure to driving pressure, the lugnut need to be retorqued, and there is a 200-item checklist to verify that everything is tested and working as designed. Are the bolts on the shocks and A-arms correctly tightened? It normally takes at least a half day for a mechanic to get through, not including putting on the dealer-install items.

Not 100% certain. My tires sit at 34-37 depending on the temps. All I got was a notification/call saying it arrived and went to pick it up shortly after. For all I know it was there for a day or so before I got notified. That's the way it seemed to work when I got updates while it was being built and shipped.

It's a high flow busy dealer from what I see so the notification could have been behind, but like I said no decals done. So far no issues with the truck (knock on wood). If I notice or feel anything off right back I'll go.

Sam Pack's 5-star Ford in Carrolton, TX (DFW) was absolutely terrible to deal with! ZERO STARS.

I placed the order on July 17 at 9am. My credit card was charged the $500 deposit on July 17. I get a call three weeks later and I'm told that my salesman was fired and my order was "placed but never assigned" whatever that means. We get it straightened out, I get an order number. Whatever.

My new salesman did a good job of texting me the day after Ford emailed me each status update.

My truck arrives in the states (at the rail yard). I asked if there was any special financing offers going either through Sam Pack's or Ford. David the salesman tells me there are none, and volunteers that the could probably get me a loan below 7%... I arrange my own financing with Bank Of America (5.5%) and take the approval letter with me when I go in to take delivery a few days later.

David wants to run my credit again (because he's incentivized to do so) under the guise of getting me a better rate... I tell him not to run my credit. I said "Do not run my credit". He agrees and says he needs to get my SSN and such to complete the BofA loan in the dealer portal. It says in the instructions the dealer may require your SSN, I saw this written on the form I brought with me. I give him my info while he types it all into the computer and then swings the monitor around and asks me to sign the screen. It's a CREDIT APPLICATION. I said no thanks, I do not want you to run my credit, and he then "shows me how to sign" by forging my signature on the screen. I forcefully speak the words, "That's not my signature, do not run my credit." He agrees not to run my credit.

Now we are waiting for the Finance manager, Laura. While we wait this strung out lady comes over and introduces herself as Alex, the person who can help me get the truck just how I want it. I told her I ordered the truck and got the exact options I wanted. She does the hard sell on each high-margin item: Floor mats, spray in bed liner, drop in bed liner, all of that crap. I politely decline while she fidgets and darts all around the conversation. Then she asks if I want a "leveling kit". I said, "No actually, I'm thinking about lowering all around it not raising it any." She asks if the lowering springs that I like are made by Ford. I said, "No Ford doesn't offer a lowering spring to my knowledge." She then goes full BULLSHIT CAR DEALER on me. Her literal example was this: "Well, you know if you put aftermarket springs on it and your seat heater goes out Ford won't cover your seat heater under warranty because you've modified the truck." I snapped at her that she was making up that BS and mentioned the Moss Magnuson act. She left us.

Then we go into Laura's office. Time for the Finance manager to take a run at the mark. Laura pitches all of the add ons, warranties, gap insurance, etc. All is politely declined. She then prints out a page and slides it across the desk to my wife and asks her to "sign the bottom to acknowledge that I offered this to you and you declined." Wife signs. Slides it over to me... I read it. It's an agreement to purchase over $4,000 in added BULLSHIT, all of the stuff we just declined! I point this out, tell my wife to scratch through her signature real quickly, and tell Laura I don't want any of her stuff, thank you. She tells me I'm reading it wrong, and I'm just signing to acknowledge. I point out the words on the page that say I'm agreeing to purchase the things I DO NOT WANT TO PURCHASE. She finally gives in and fakes a "Oh, I must have printed out the wrong one, let me print out a the right one." and prints out another one... exactly the same. Slides it across the desk to my wife who points out it is the same and slides it back. Laura pretends to not know how to run her software and says she must need to refresh it. Third time's a charm. She finally printed out the form that said we were NOT purchasing her add-ons. Shady lady!

David hassles me real hard to make sure I give him a good rating because that's the way he makes money, and he only gets his bonus if he gets all 5 star ratings. He brings this up several times. He really drove home the point that I must, MUST, give him a perfect rating and if there is any reason I can't then we need to talk about it then. I'm annoyed, he's a pushy salesman, his aftermarket parts lady was a liar, his finance manager tried to trick us multiple times, and now he's pushing hard for a "perfect" rating... It's late and I leave with the truck.

I get home, go to bed, wake up in the morning to all sorts of emails and alerts that my credit has been run, hard inquiries. at 6:13pm the night before, which happens to be when I told him not to run my credit. I call him. He lies to me and says he did not run my credit. I reach out to the dealership's PR guy. David calls me back. David admits they ran my credit, and blames it on Laura. But I never gave my info to Laura. I only gave my info to David and when I gave it to him I thought he needed it to complete my pre-arranged financing - and maybe he did. But he used it to run my credit, too. I tell them I'm not happy and that they need to "un ring the bell", call BofA, do whatever. I'm not taking a 30 point hit on my credit for year.

I call BofA, they want me to make a police report against David for Identity theft and forging my signature.

What would you do?

Anyway, RJ, the manager calls me and I explain everything to him. we play phone tag, and now I'm ghosted.

Avoid these people at Sam Pack's 5-star Ford! They are dishonest!
David Baldovin (Acted as the salesman, listed on their website under finance)
Laura Munoz (acted as the finance manager, listed on their website as "internet")
Alexandra Benvenuto (acted as upfitter sales, listed on website as "management")

The whole experience was HOT GARBAGE. I went there because a friend recommended them after having purchased 5 cars from them. Maybe I needed to throw his name around or something to avoid getting this abuse?

I live in Nashville, TN but have bought the last 3 trucks from Ford of Murfreesboro which is 30 miles from Nashville. When I decided I wanted to by a Maverick I checked with 3 dealers n Nashville but could not deal with any. One told me he marked up vehicles 10% to start with and I told him he could drive it up where there is no sunshine.
My wife and I went to Murfreesboro to see about ordering one but when we got there they had one that was ordered for a salesman who decided not to take it.
it listed for $33,917.00 and was a XLT hybrid. with all the options I was looking for.
i ended up buying it for $33,117.00 and drove it home.
I highly recommend Ford of Murfreesboro to anyone looking for a vehicle, their salesmen treated me great and they have a very good service department. I have done business with them for 14 years with no complaints. I really like the Maverick but it takes a little getting use to since I drove full size trucks for 55 years.

Talking about service only. Where I bought the Mav (Horne,Apache Jct.): not good. Larry H. Miller in Mesa was excellent. For buying and ordering Horne was very good. Hard to tell in advance.
I second your experience buying at Horne. Surprise/never discussed add on charges when it finally arrived and a great rush to get us out the door with the minimum time explaining any features, etc. Maybe even worse was San Tan Ford where the Sales person (with a mgr. title) failed to even get the order out in. Said he didn't think the window of accepting orders would be so short. No apology even.

My experience was great. Mainly I believe because my salesman was not what you expect. No Bs did what he said and stood by everything. Dealer is a ok also. Sells the ford performance vehicles at msrp no markup. Paid a msrp for my maverick and they gave me a free 10 year 100k warranty as a thanks
. Shout out to Ducky the salesman at Preferred Ford in Grand Haven Michigan.
