Just picked up my XL with 360 sunroof and sliding rear window. My wife and i were bamboozled and threatened to walk out before closing the deal. We had been approved for 4 percent by our bank and the sales manager insisted we finance through Ford credit in order to get msrp. Ford credit approved us for 8 percent. In addition to that the manager insisted that every car they sell comes with the dealer installed alarm system and vehicle recovery device. We went round and round I told them I didn't want those extras and wasn't interested in paying for them as I had already ordered the truck exactly how I wanted it. In the end We struck a deal where I'd be able to finance through my bank in exchange for purchasing the extended warranty at discounted price to meet the same value as the alarm system. We signed paperwork and took the truck and I couldn't be happier until the next day when I was reviewing the paperwork and discovered that the extended warranty can be refunded in full within 30 days. I intend to have that warranty refunded in a week or so. I'll keep you all updated.
