Mine was great. Wandered in to see if they happened to have one to look at and see how the seating position and ingress/egress was due to my newly diagnosed mobility issues. They happened to have one that someone ordered and had not decided on if they wanted to keep it. It was basically everything I would have ordered. They reached out to the guy that ordered it and he turned it down. So I got first say on it. I paid less than if I ordered the exact same truck. No add ons and no markup. It was wonderful. Less that 8 hours from looking to driving off the lot.
Talking about service only. Where I bought the Mav (Horne,Apache Jct.): not good. Larry H. Miller in Mesa was excellent. For buying and ordering Horne was very good. Hard to tell in advance.
Ordered in Oct '23 got it that December. Only had to put a $500 deposit down that went towards my down payment. When it arrived at the dealer a few hours later I picked it up. They didn't even have anytime to put any dealer stickers on it.
No funny business like fees other than the normal stuff like for transport and documents. Sat me down went over their stuff. Took what I wanted and declined what I didn't with with no fuss.
All they did was fill the tank up, washed it and took all the coverings off/out of it. They left me alone to look the truck over then tell them if there was any issues. Very happy customer and now a happy Maverick owner.
Second time buying from my salesman Gary. He made sure he called every time there was an update. So I'd say I had a really good experience. My dealership was Holman Ford Turnersville, NJ.
I was sold a product that was touted as something it wasn’t. Never provided a window sticker of product after multiple requests from myself and wife. Resulting sales department negotiated upgrade (ACC install) price not honored by service department. Required parts were supposed to be on hand in a few days, took over two months. Now they all have ghosted me ( salesman, service department and parts department). My turn to shake the can again. Or just walk away unhappy.
The one I bought from? Fantastic. Easy to work with. No B.S. Shout-out to Bowen Scarff in Kent, WA.
The one I went to for my airbag recall? They left two nuts off the A pillar plastic, putting me in danger for over a year at this point. Currently chasing Ford customer service to see what they're going to be doing to fix this mess.
Here's what negligence looks like:
...and a middle finger to Evergreen Ford in Issaquah, WA.
EXCELLENT. No add-ons, no pressure, no up-sales, no doc fees. LongLewis Ford Hoover, AL. Sales consultant, Bradley Wilson is very customer oriented. In and out in 1 1/2 hours.
I would give Skagit Ford in Burlington, WA a solid Meh. My Maverick was a declined order. They immediately stuck a $5000 markup on it. By the time we came to look at it, after nearly 50 days on the lot, the markup was down to $2500. The best I could negotiate over the following week was $1750 over. I hate the idea of paying over MSRP, but they absolutely refused to budge. And after that, they still ran me through the sleazy gauntlet of upsells - including $800 for gap insurance which Safeco provided for $18. I sat there listening and thought to myself, this is why everyone hates car dealerships.
My sales experience was great, no hassle, MSRP minus Farm Bureau discount. No pressure to finance or purchase extended warranty, although it was offered.
My service experience at multiple Ford dealerships was pathetic. Incompetence and not prepared to deal with the issues.
Happy with them. I ordered from the fleet guy. At the time $500 over Msrp was the best in my area of Northern California. Truck came in and was perfect. Price was what they said and they honored my wish to let me put on front license plate. Almost a year so far.
Shout out to Jacky Jones in Sweetwater TN! Awesome folks and no pressure. Shauz Daniels was my salesman and is courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and professional! I will buy from them again when I need other wheels.
Ordered ours from Asheville Ford 6 months ago. Told them when I was ordering there will be no add ons like pin strips or nitrogen in the tires.
When it came in, they gave us a fair amount for our trade and we were in and out in about 2 hours. We were cash buy but we wanted them to transfer our Florida tag so that’s what took so long. It was the best dealership car buy experience we have had.
Not sure if my experience was good because of the dealership or if it was because I had an honest salesman.
I will say that the Seekins ford service department is crap.
I met several ones, basically, don't feel good. Most of them trick you went to their place, then told me just sold, or under other's name, really sucks.
Compared to Toyota dealer, disappointed. If Toyota sell Maverick, I won't go to Ford dealership.
