Indeed, it seems like a cycle where one must continuously invest in new vehicles or spend significantly on accessories and maintenance. Even then, the benefits don't seem to justify the costs. Once my points are exhausted for oil changes, it's unlikely I'll earn any more, rendering them somewhat insignificant. It's reminiscent of other points systems designed to encourage maximum spending, yet in many cases, it's more cost-effective to pay for services or items upfront rather than relying on points.

I not seen any points after buying a Maverick in Oct last year. I keep getting a email notice about Ford Pass rewards, open it, not see any points listed. I have an account, yet see nothing regarding any points.

Or am I doing this wrong?

I had the same situation. Traded in an Explorer for the Maverick but no points showed up. Read somewhere that the way to do this is to go to:
https://www.ford.com/support/fordpass/fordpass-rewards/rewards-history/points-assist/
Sign in and click on Vehicle Purchase. It will ask you for info on VIN, dealer and date. Then as if by magic all you points show up. Mine did anyway. YMMV. Best of luck.

I tried it, but a hic cup popped up. Says call the Ford Pass contact number. Bum program perhaps? Maybe I will, maybe I won’t.

I called, contact them. Well I have the points, can see it. On wife account for her Escape! No wonder I not see my info. Had to use her member ID, app on her phone, where both her Escape and my Maverick posted. Can switch between the two. Rather than try switch to my member, Maverick, create bigger mess, we just leave it as is.
As it turn out, when I was a dealer, day one, wife on phone with sakes a, he did setup. I not blame him, just how it all unfolded.
