Dealer can't set your priority lower than 10. If you're a 2, then the regional manager has changed it. I don't know, but suspect that the RM wouldn't do this if the particular dealer didn't have allocation.
Interesting.
The thing is, our order was confirmed on 6/14, there are no issues from the particulars of the order, but we're still waiting for even a scheduling date. So a "2" seems nice, but what good has it done? So, if it's not allocation or the order itself or the Priority Code...what is the actual holdup? 🤷🏻‍♀️So strange.

If you're a priority 2 you may get scheduled Thursday, watch for an email from Ford around 10 -11 AM.

Just be aware that there are people here that have been a 2 for a few weeks and still waiting.

I have an order date of 7/8/21… build date of 9/20/21
vin and window sticker was issued but I can no longer seem to track my order on the Ford site. I called my dealer he says it’s probably built. That’s why can’t track. Hmmmm seems fishy ?

As of right now, no hybrid qualifies for the tax break. Pure EVs only.
Plug in hybrids qualify for a percentage of the $7500 based on the car's battery size (some qualify for full amount, I think the escape phev is around $6500 ballpark). No non-plug in hybrid qualifies.

RM could also push an order up to a level Priority 1 as well... from my (half way informed) understanding, Priority 2 is Regional Top Priority while Priority 1 is National Top Priority. So if there are commodity restrictions those are displayed as a national % (meaning regions would be a percentage of that percentage). Getting that Priority Code 1 (National Top Priority) could be the piece that gets you over the line if you have an order with restraints (Hybrid 40% National , XLT Lux 20% National, etc.) though your dealer would still need available allocation.

Our source at Ford has just confirmed the OKTB (ok-to-buy) date for the Maverick Hybrid is December 8, 2021, due to the emission certification delay. This info originates directly from Hermosillo plant.

It remains to be seen if this date holds, but we should be less than two months away from the first saleable hybrid Mavericks.

As for EPA MPG release for the Hybrid Maverick, the source isn't 100% certain, but thinks that it should also be released on the same date.
So the push out to "Infinity and Beyond" isn't completely accurate then?

Friendly disagreement here. Hybrid buyers have to wait anyway… make the Ecoboost buyers happy and get those trucks on the road so more people are exposed to them. We are enthusiasts and have been pumping each other with information for months, a lot of the general public hasn’t even heard of the Maverick. When I tell people I have ordered a new Ford Maverick pickup, I have yet to have anyone recognize what it is.
I agree. I'm surprised at how many people go "What's that?" when I tell them I ordered a Mav.

The individual dealership decides on the format and what the number is.
This makes sense...my order code has 2 letters and 2 numbers.
