Annoying passenger door rattle.

After covering practically my entire door and door card with sound deadener, I finally found the worst of my passenger door rattles. It was the window switch... The switch fits loosely in its housing and rattles like crazy with bass. I wrapped the switch with deadener and finally my door is quiet...

The Maverick is a rattle trap. I went through this thing and silenced everything. It was a lot. Hope this helps someone.

Mine is perfectly quiet and rattle free. Sounds like OCD to me.

Lol no. It rattled before the upgrades. I was hoping that I would get them during sound deadening, but still had a couple. Why is everyone so negative about this post? If yours doesn't rattle, good for you. Mine did.

My weirdest and worst rattle was actually from the passenger seat. If it's all the way back,. for whatever reason it rattles badly. If you pull the release and slide it just a smidge forward, it's gone.

I was going crazy for days looking for this - seems like a good a place as any to comment on it.

My truck also had the passenger door rattle, fixed that and it now has the passenger window switch rattle, can you post a picture of what you did to stop it? Thanks.

I should have taken pictures but I did not. I'm not going to take it apart again but I will try to describe what I did

L remove the window switch plate. Shook it in my hand. It rattled the same sound I had been hearing so I knew that's the source. On the underside of the switch plate there is a square housing the switch sits in. You can't miss it. I wrapped that in sound deadener with the switch in it and shook it. The rattle was gone. I reinstalled the plate and have not heard it since. If you don't have deadener, you can probably use tesa tape.

Lol. My hearing is good so guess I'm lucky. One would think that you having the top trim level there'd be less chance of any annoying issues. My only issue is I really don't drive much so I get that annoying FordPass battery saver mode sometimes.
