I have a 2022 XLT Hybrid. I would buy again without question - prefect for my job, daily in town driving and gas prices in CA. BUT with the realization that there are numerous "bugs" to be worked out...recalls and a heat exchanger failure with 1 month wait for parts. In fact, because I have been happy enough (plus I never be able to get a small truck at the price I paid again) I decided to add a 5 year extended warranty (0% interest). That is whole different issue to discuss though.

Our fifth Ford hybrid. First two were Fusions. Second two Escapes.

For my purposes of being a handyman and needing a small truck the Maverick hybrid stands alone.

Very reliable. Many people here messing with all kinds of things on it. I leave it alone. The sound system is great, mileage fantastic as is comfort and drivability. Aside from seat belt warnings that simply don’t go away even after you’ve buckled up, lack of an auto dim mirror along with my inability to get adaptive cruise due to Ford’s seemingly unsolvable supply chain issues, the truck’s about perfect for my needs. Also loving our Escape hybrids.

This 100% should've been a poll. Yes I would buy the hybrid again. I wouldn't buy an Ecoboost.

Yes, absolutely! If an awd hybrid model becomes available I’ll get in line.

Yes absolutely with my 2022 Lariat. And/but would trade for similar AWD in a minute.

No, I don't think I would buy another Maverick Hybrid.

I get a company car from work and that doubles as my daily driver.
I need a personal vehicle for some occasions. I chose the hybrid because it was the standard powertrain. Now as an upcharge powertrain, I don't think the fuel savings and potential resale value will outweigh the higher cost for the hybrid option.

Unless for some reason 4k or AWD were absolute necessities, which they are not, YES. The Hybrid system is oh so smooth to drive, and yields great mileage.

This is both my first Hybrid and first Truck, and I'm really enjoying the Maverick. I've owned a variety of vehicles over the years from a Chev Impala, Chev Monza, Escape, Eldorado, Windstar (Fixed or Repair Daily), GMC Envoy, Subaru Outback, and now the Maverick Hybrid, and its my favorite thus far.
I knew a guy that worked at Ford that had a Windstar and kept a large zip lock type bag to keep all the parts like bolts and things that fell of it. My dad bought only Ford but when he bought a new one he always went back to the dealer in a few days with a “punch list” of what was wrong it…that was very normal back in the day.

I have 22 xlt and love it so much that I have ordered a 24 . So yes I would and I am not aware of any negative feedback on them . My is a hybrid and it had some recalls but ford has taken care off all the recalls at no cost to me.
Now it runs like a top starts every morning. Love it.

I was just wondering with all the negative threads about a Maverick hybrids That if you have one or own one would you buy a hybrid again yes or no ?
I started with a 22 EB Lariat while I awaited my roll-over order 24 hybrid Lariat. Except for having the Lariat Lux Pkg on the 24, both are identical. The 22 Lariat had 8800 miles on it when sold, my 24 hybrid has 800 miles on it. Yes, the driving dynamics are slightly different, the sounds, the acceleration but I love seeing 44.2-45 mpg and the 24 feels more solid as far as no dash noises. 800 miles may be too soon to judge but so far I am happy that I switched to a hybrid.

Yes, and I have since bought a Toyota Sienna (another hybrid) But I hope to trade my current Mav for a plug-in hybrid Maverick...if it ever shows up.

Yes, I would definitely buy another Hybrid. I have driven the Toyota Prius and my 2023 Maverick now for the past 6 months and I definitely prefer the Maverick in every way. I do want Ford to look into 12 volt battery drain issues, but otherwise no problems at all.
