2024 Maverick XL - Price Increase 12/16/2023

Almost a 20% price increase from the original $19.999 and then add the $1500 extra for the Hybrid and wow, that is some price inflation in 2 years.

We all get to pay for the UAW wage increase. I guess 90k a year just wasn't enough. Don't you just love it.

Highly doubt anyone actually making our trucks in Mexico is clearing anything close to $90,000. 20-25k is probably a lot closer.

Well I am an Idiot that paid a little above MSRP 2023 ecoboost AWD, these increases definitely ease this feeling that I might have gotten ripped off even though this car is beyond my expectation. It has been a couple years of video watching over and over again and to finally pick it up this past week felt like a super core memory =)

Assuming the stealership passes it along to the buyer.

It's important to research the dealer as much as the vehicle you're considering. Read dealer reviews on this forum and others like Google, etc. If possible, talk to other customers or members on here, who've used the dealer you're considering. Find out if they sell for MSRP and if they honor Price Protection.
Don't trust any of them.

NEWS FLASH: Inflation affects labor costs as well. If the market will bear it, they will charge it! Ford is finding out the hard way that this isn't always the case. F-150s are just stacking up on dealer lots! People can swing a small truck priced in the mid twenty thousands. Seventy thousand plus? LOL! Nope!

We were happy with the 3000 off MSRP for the 24 Lariat Hybrid with moon roof that we took delivery of on Nov 22. (2500 Ford private offer and 500 Farm Bureau)

The assembly line workers in Dearborn are making 110k now. As a whole, the automakers will pass all of the labor wages on to the consumer. I agree, the workers in Mexico are definitely not making 90k a year. Ford still has to pass on the added cost of the US workers wage increase.

If true, it will apply to new orders placed after today. Retail orders placed before today will have price protection.

By the way, what is your source of this information?

Don't count on price protection. I didn't get it in my 2023. Dealer acted like they didn't know what price protection was. I paid $480 more than the price ordered at. Never got a refund for the difference.

The MSRP for a 2024 XL hybrid in same configuration costs $2,740.00 more than my 2023 XL hybrid purchased 11/30/2023.

With the price increase, the Maverick is still a great value if it meets your needs for a truck.
