No confirmation email, dealer says dont worry

I ordered on opening day of the new MY, no rollover or anything.
I never got an order confirmation email, I talked with the dealer and they said it wasn't a big deal.
Are they going to fuck me? What's going on here?

I got pretty much from my dealer - and I still wonder. If you have order number from dealer, you can call and at least check on the order direct with Ford.

That group told me that the dealer needed to add your email address to the order in order to get this updates.

Not sure if it will be a problem or not.

Hope not, I wish I had a better idea of a timeline, my current vehicles 4th transmission is shitting the bed, I've only stuck it out this long because I ordered a mav

I got regular emails for my MY23 but not for my MY24. I figured that the dealer just put their contact info instead of mine.

As long as you have your order number and sales code you can just contact Ford directly for a status. Not a huge deal.

get your order number and sales code and go on the ford website and use the chat feature and ask them there they can confirm the order or if its gotten any further than that they'll be able to tell you

Did you get an order sheet or DORA as it is sometimes called from the dealer when you placed your order? It should look similar to this. If you did you can call Ford customer service and give them the sales code and order code and they should be able to help. Both codes are located at the top right.

BTW the most likely reason you are not receiving any emails is because your dealer did not enter your email address in WBDO at time of ordering. Some dealers do it some don't so it doesn't necessarily mean your dealer is trying to screw you.
