Favorite Forscan Tweaks?

So I've got the Autostop/Autostart feature disabled, and added the Sport and Eco driving modes. What else should I consider? I'm especially interested in tweaks that make the truck less authoritarian, for example maybe getting rid of that awful seatbelt warning every time I fire up the engine. I don't drive without wearing a seatbelt, and I don't need a nanny!

What Forscan tweaks have you done that has made your Maverick "better" for you? All suggestions appreciated.

Like to know how to kill the honk when you set the alarm on . I did set the lock to unlock all doors with one push of the key fob

I was reading it's possible to have the PowerPoints (USB & 12V) power off minutes after turning off the engine. Apparently the factory has it set at an hour and a half or something. Seems too long, and could be an unnecessary power drain.

What is this forscan you guys speak of? Is it just an adapter for your pc to connect to the OBD or is it a full program you have to download as well. Im familiar with the COBB plug in but have never heard of this.

Yes and yes. But if you have even a little geek in you, it's pretty easy. Just make sure to save a backup before doing anything. There are some great YouTube videos showing how to do some of the most popular Forscan tweaks on our Mavericks. I had one window playing the video, and another with Forscan running, and went back and forth between them. Learning as I went along!

What I do is simply not close the drivers door all the way, no honk.
