That's not bad for a leadfoot. The highway driving is more of a factor for the hybrid than the heat.

Right on track for 75MPH. Heater is not what did this. Granted the ice runs more for heat but at 75MPH it will run most of the time anyway. What do you expect?

I set mine to 65 and I still have to crack the window constantly. Got it set at 63 currently.

The Escape I could set at 70 and be fine but the Maverick is either an ice box or a toaster. One of the other.

And yea, I agree... Heated seats and steering wheel FTW. Heated mirrors are nice too. But my favorite - the wipers. If I parked outside that would come in handy (even with lifting to avoid freezing, the heat would help defrost a lot faster). Lots of heat on the Maverick lol. And some where it's not so wanted... Like the small amount of fluid in the difs and the terrific placement of the PTU...

I like it warm when I leave at 4 AM and it’s 30 degrees but I can’t take more than 70 on the heat. I love, love, love my heated seats and steering wheel! That way I direct the heat to my feet and stay toasty warm. I end up getting right at 38.6 mpg at 73 mph with occasional bursts of 80-85 on my 454 mile trips. I’m very happy with my hybrid mileage

So my 24 Lariat loaded will be a winner...NICE.
As for 75 heat, the fan is on lowest setting so it's not really as hot as you would think. Plus its on windshield and floor so you barely feel the air. I still crack a window once in awhile for fresh cool air.
I really like the EGR in channel visors. Useful at all times and help the overall look of the Mav. Also, just turned 12k worry free miles.

That seems like quite a hit, if you're driving mostly highway miles, since the ICE is running most of the time, anyway.
Seems like running the heater in non-highway driving would lower mileage a lot more, since a lot of those normally tend to be Electric miles.

Mine's usually in the low/mid 70s, if I happen to look at the temp setting. If I'm cold, I usually just turn the dial a bit warmer, without looking at what the "temp" shows it is. It's never accurate, anyway.

I like the cab warm because I cannot stand to drive whilst wearing a fn coat!

I have 45k on my 22 lariat hybrid. If I run at 70 or above it gets above 36mpg but if I run 39 or lower it gets 45+. I have a lead foot also. Cruise control saves me a lot now that I trust it.

I can tell you are not in Canada, like I am, from this statement. During the coldest weeks of winter if I waited for the heater to heat up the truck, I'd be at work already. The remote start on the keyfob (I do not use Fordpass), bedliner and other items made the Lux package more than worth while for me, beyond the heated items.

36 for this small truck at 80 MPH is GREAT. My 2015 Nissan Versa Note which is a tiny car at 68 mph all highway could just pull 39. Had I been going 80 I doubt it would have done 36. More like 32. But in NY 80 gets you a tickect.

I'm definitely not complaining just pointing out the difference it makes interstate driving and heat on. I usually drive backroads to my jobs but I needed to be on the move the last 2 weeks so i5 it was. I definitely prefer country road driving. The Hyundai kona i had for a month before the Maverick popped up at the dealer was AWD and would be in the low 30s interstate driving. My 2013 silverado 4x4 crewcab at 75-80mph gets me about 15mpg.
