📢 OKTB Hybrid Maverick Date Confirmed = 12/8/21

Confused: Does this mean if I have a 11/01 build date (which so far hasn't changed) that it can still ship to the dealership, just not be sold til after that date?
I wasn't expecting it til the 1st or 2nd week of December anyway.

Having said that, please help me understand, why is OKTB 2 months from now? What is the point of waiting? Either all the boxes are checked off or they are not - if criteria not met yet then how can someone predict exactly when it will be done?

Let's see 19 days to build date +38 days to OKTB + 28 to 42 days for delivery . Would somebody wake me when mine arrives.

You can always increase the font size in your browser, so that all of the posts are easier to read. I often do this with sites that have tiny little fonts.

I am already at 150% which does make the font size much bigger they however are still very dim.
Maybe next year when I have cataract surgery they won't appear as dim.

Still not sure why someone thought i was shouting. I sure wasn't SHOUTING in all caps.

I do have a question. Does this site have a DARK mode as I have found sites that do are much more readable for me.

This may be a stupid question as im no car dealer expert. But doesn’t the dealer buy the vehicle from Ford? And if so, when does Ford relinquish ownership and the dealer take ownership? Is that the timing of OKTB or is OKTB from dealer to consumer?

We are not Fords customers. Dealers buy from Ford and resell to us.

How high up is this employee at the Plant?
and why would they have this information at all?

Why do you trust this employee's information as valid to put it out as fact?

We have been burned here before with the a "friend of a friend's sister heard from someone who works at a Ford plant" type source.

Just wait for Maverick Jesus to get the word out if credible.

There's a post on the forum in which a member quoted an article that state emission rules/laws changed for 2022 MY so that might the whole reason behind the delay.
