Mods? Yikes lol What do you suggest in order of priority?- would like a cover eventually- doing analysis paralysis on that. 1st easy thing for me is to tin front windows same as rear

Mods? I suggest the tailgate damper, about $40 and easy to install. Raised tailgate lettering.

The tint is great idea, spray in bed liner if you don’t already have it, hood/bug shield, tailgate damper, tailgate lettering, bed cover, LED Backup Bulbs, stubby antenna, all weather floor mats

Sorry Oscar, I'd say forget those 2 useless modifications out of the gate. Instead, put a good coat of wax/sealant/ceramic on the paint and wheels. Rain-X the windows too. I waited 9 months to wax and it would have saved me a ton of time washing if I had done it right away.

You can always add useless crap later. Now is a good time to focus on the paint, before it gets dirty.

Spray-in bedliner and cover. I underestimated the value of the cover until I didn't have it and needed it.

This sounds good if you don't plan to use it as a truck. No amount of paint protection is going to protect it from a boy scout dragging their bag across it. I personally didn't bother and spent my money elsewhere.

As for the Rain-X, go ahead and run out your window wash and put in the Rain-X brand. After a bottle of it, your windshield will be good to go.

I went through that same process. Key to me was the tri-fold doesn't block the cargo management system like 2 others I looked at in person and the Ford design minimally obstructs the bed. It doesn't have a lock in it but you can't open it without opening the tailgate. It is very nice and I'm glad I spent the little extra getting Ford's version.

Just an excuse for not waxing your freshly painted vehicle? I spent 2023 washing this thing 1-2 times a month. Would have been so much easier had I waxed it to begin with.

And lets get serious here. Very few MTC members are using Maverick as a truck. Even if you are, waxing saves time and energy at the car wash.
