New Maverick owner :)

Greetings fellow Mav owners,

I just picked up the Maverick xl hybrid this evening. I had some questions about
Ford's Protect maintenance package. Is it worth getting? I was quoted $3000+tax CAD for 5 years, 10 scheduled services. Since it's a brand new car, I'd expect not much being needed to justify $340/visit ($300+HST in Ontario). Does anyone know what the normal schedule maintenance package cost? Of course the car salesman doesn't have a price list for us to compare and make a sound decision. We've got 10 days to decide, your insights are much appreciated.

I just scheduled my first maintenance appointment, 10,000 miles for an oil change and tire rotation. The rest of the stuff is stuff they check anyway. I didn’t buy any of those warranties but I have in the past and didn’t get my money’s worth.
