Like the title of the thread we have a 2.0 Lariat in Atlas Blue with the BAP ordered. Would like to see pics and gauge owner satisfaction with the choice. Thanks in advance.
I’ve had my ’23 Lariat with BAP since March. I love the combination of colour. My wife did not like the original interior so she said if I got the BAP, she would pay for that addition. 😂 Video shot by my dealer back in March.

Ordered my 24 Lariat in Shadow Black with BAP mainly to get rid of the brown interior. I’m on the fence about the exterior color though. I understand this can still be changed until you get a build date so I need to make a decision. I had originally ordered an Atlas Blue XLT and no BAP, but don’t think that color looks as good with the BAP. Alto Blue would be better if still available, but my personal feeling is that the BAP needs either black, silver, or carbonized grey. Hate that you still get the blue plastic in the interior with the BAP though. I didn’t realize that before someone mentioned it on this thread.

My question to Shadow Black BAP package owners is are you happy with that decision and how much of a pain in the ass is it to keep looking good? I don’t have a garage and don’t want to be washing my vehicle every other day, so maybe I should choose another color?

If what I'm seeing is correct, the BAP is the XL interior (minus seats) plus smoked lights? $2k for that? The dash, console, etc.. all look exactly like my XL. If I smoked out my lights I would be right there with it.

The BAP comes with 18" wheels and better tires, Michelin vs. Continental. Also blacked out Ford badges and piano black bar on the grill along with piano black caps on the mirrors. Also, no chrome on the XLT, Lariat side badges.

Love the BAP on my XLT Cyber Orange.

I wanted to break up all that "orange" and adding the black accents was perfect for that.

there's more than just that. the BAP interior is the same as the Tremor, and it's a lot more black than the XL interior.

the dash and most of the door panels are still navy blue, though.

There's a bit more to it than that....for $1645 on my Lariat. My only complaint is that Ford should have included black lugnuts, but that was easy to fix.

I think I will add a bit of counterpoint to this conversation. I have a Shadowblack XLT with the Black Appearance Package (BAP). The primary reason I got it was to eliminate the standard XLT interior. However, I think I should have gone with the XL instead. I like the XL interior slightly more than the XLT w/BAP interior. I ended up putting all-black Wet Okole seat covers on anyway.

The XLT is designed to give you more option package choices. However, I only needed or wanted the CP360 and the 4K Tow on the EB with AWD. I thought the BAP interior would be more monochrome than it is.

The remainder of the BAP -- emblems, wheels, lights, etc. -- is a "nice to have," in my opinion.

In conclusion, my Maverick is excellent "as is" with the BAP. I would not, however, order a 2024 Maverick with the BAP since it also requires the XLT Luxury Package. At that point, I would go with the XL and save the money.

Believe me when I say the BAP will go with any of the blue exteriors.

Why would anyone pay extra for a black out package? First world economics I guess…. Go figure. Sucker born every minute.
I'm pretty sure I didn't use any of your money sooo....

XL not easy to get for MY23 and I thought it was the same for MY 24. I do agree though that maybe a XLT is not the best place to use the BAP. I have a Lariat and I'm very happy with the BAP on it.
