Another follow up question: if you financed, what is the rate?

Financed, but we saved the money we would have otherwise used for payments for it while we waited for the build... so we ended up putting down like an $8000 down payment. 😆

If you can finance for a lower rate than your money can earn in safe investments (money market, bonds, etc) - finance the whole thing. Keep your money, earning money.

If you have to finance it all b/c you don't know how to budget and spend all your money each month no matter what, but "can afford the payment" --> you do you. Someone has to spend irresponsibly to make my stocks go up - thanks for conspicuous consumption!

I did 48 months with the .09% Ford offered originally. With inflation I figure my true rate is negative fifteen percent

I financed about half the price of mine. 48 months @ 4.75% from my credit union

No special interest rates when I bought. Technically, my trade was roughly 12% down. Took a longer loan simply to give us the flexibility to reduce the payment when/if times get tight. Otherwise, I plan to pay it off in four years.

Paid cash. Used the wife's IRA and the rest out of savings (about 8 grand).
