didn't say or imply that YOU called it a fix, I was curious if this WAS the dealerships fix for the engine fire recall?I never called it a "fix".
I only called it an "improvement".

Felt, not metal.I imagine at this price that it's felt. Or is it metal?
This is Ford's permanent fix, not the dealers hack job.didn't say or imply that YOU called it a fix, I was curious if this WAS the dealerships fix for the engine fire recall?
Thank you,This is Ford's permanent fix, not the dealers hack job.
agree 100% just give us little flaps with just a few fasteners each. that would be a true improvement.I'm still waiting for Ford to offer the one that has access panels for the oil filter and plug, so you don't have to take that whole plate off just to do an oil change.
Or titanium,?So it's NASA quality space age carbon fiber? lol
Thanks for the info!
right, but honestly, if a person had the dealer hack holes in their '22 bellypan splashguard, it probably is fine to just leave it that way. This is Ford's permanent fix, not the dealers hack job.
I wouldn't either, unless the original needed replacing. Not like anyone but the mechanic will see it.right, but honestly, if a person had the dealer hack holes in their '22 bellypan splashguard, it probably is fine to just leave it that way.
it's interesting to know you can buy the 23-up part and it's moderately priced, but I personally wouldn't bother.
there's no need for a metal skidplate on a hybrid, and the fx4 and tremor already have them.I want it to be without holes for aerodynamics and made of metal for protection!
I want a similar option for the XLT FX4 steel skidplate. At a reasonable cost. C'mon vendors, get 'er done!agree 100% just give us little flaps with just a few fasteners each. that would be a true improvement.
