Anyone else seeing Mavericks “On Hold” at Railyards?

My MY23 Hybrid was built last month and arrived at the railroad in New Orleans over the weekend. Three other Maverick Hybrids were already awaiting delivery to the same dealer. This afternoon, they all were taken from Pending and moved to On Hold status in OVISS. Dealer has no clue why. Curious if anyone else has seen that happen today, or in the past. Best case is a simple coding mistake by dispatch. Worst Case is a new recall-service issue that has yet to be announced.

There is yet-another-recall that involves a software update. But that would likely be done at the dealership after they receive it.

Mines been sitting in the KC rail yard for weeks. :rolleyes:

Isn’t that software update only for cars produced before May?

Mine has now gone from “on hold” to “cancelled.” Uncertain if the same fate has befallen the other three Mavericks sitting at the rail yard for my dealer.

Surprised it went north to St. Louis. My '22 and '23 both arrived at New Orleans within a week of leaving the factory, so assumed it was a pretty direct route from Mexico to Arizona to Louisiana.

What would cause one to go to canceled status?
One option would be that the vehicles were being picked up by another trucking company than United. No clue yet though.

purely a guess, but my suspicion is that the original carrier was cancelled, and a new carrier will be found.
That is mine and the dealer’s guess at this time too.

Hold cancelled??? Or Truck cancelled???

I don't know that it will help but I have work accounts with BNSF and Union Pacific. If you want to PM me your VIN I can try and look up a status. Just let me know which railway delivered to the destination railyard. No guarantees. The railway portals are not always the most helpful. But I can try.

Thanks but no worries. It, and the other three Mavericks, will show up at the dealer eventually. All made it to New Orleans and from there they go via semi on I-10 East.

I would expect ours to come into San Antonio then be trucked into the Austin area. Wait times for auto carriers can be ridiculously long once they have arrived at the destination rail yard.
