Hybrid Maverick towing experiences? Suggestions for lightweight camper?

Howdy friends! Ordered a 2024 Hybrid XL! Doin a little research on possibly buying a camper, but I want to make sure its lightweight and under the 2000lb towing for the hybrid. Anyone have experience towing campers with their hybrid? Also any suggestions on good lightweight campers?

Got my email that I'm scheduled for production last week of October! Very excited to finally see what all the hype is about! Will be my first truck!

I just bought a small popup camper last weekend. It only weighs about 1250 lbs. Used Tow/haul mode when driving it home. It did fine.

ent well!! The only problem was locking the door and the Maverick
going to sleep. Always take the spare keys with you or don't lock it. Had to call a 24 hr locksmith which unloved it in 20 seconds. The towing vehicle might surprise you!!

Exactly...why I ordered it with the Lariat. I configured it a couple of days later. I noticed that multiple times when working on the Maverick with the engine running it has LOCKED me out of the trunk. I leave the remote in the top open slot all the time but that will not stop the truck from locking the doors. Keypad nice since it always works and I don't have to go get the spare remote.

You are right about the keypad. I tried getting one put on my XL but the dealer was not very helpful.

Does keypad work when the truck goes into deep sleep after towing for several hours? I tried to unlock it with the app but it did not work during the deep sleep. I didn't expect it to go to sleep since I had just started it about 2 hours prior.
